Full-Time Inmate Crew Leader
Gilchrist County Road Department has a full-time opening for an Inmate Crew Leader. The starting pay rate is $16.00 per hour.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while supervising inmate work crews in a safe and productive manner.
Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain clearance from the Florida Department of Corrections.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver License and have a good driving record.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous physical work as needed.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time position with benefits and is subject to a six-month probationary period.
